Conference Schedule and Events
We encourage participants to arrive in Ishigaki on April 21, when a Welcome Reception will be held at the conference venue. We recommend arranging your accommodation in Ishigaki from this date so that you can fully enjoy the networking opportunities and begin meeting fellow participants from around the world.
The conference will officially open on the morning of April 22, featuring the Opening Ceremony followed by keynote and technical presentations. In the evening, a Poster Session with light refreshments will provide an excellent opportunity for discussion and exchange of ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
On April 23, participants will have the opportunity to join an exciting excursion to the NARO (National Agriculture and Food Research Organization) JIRCAS research facilities in Ishigaki, as well as field visits to observe the unique vegetation of the island. Following the excursion, the conference Banquet will be held at Hotel Miyahira, offering a wonderful opportunity to continue discussions and strengthen collaborations while experiencing local hospitality.
The scientific sessions will continue on April 24. The program is scheduled to conclude in the early afternoon, allowing participants traveling home that day to depart conveniently.
For those wishing to extend their stay, an optional tour to Iriomote Island will be offered on April 25. Participants will travel by boat to Iriomote, where they will have the opportunity to observe its rich subtropical vegetation and unique natural environment. The tour will begin in the morning and return to Ishigaki in the afternoon, making it possible to catch an evening flight home on Sunday.
We warmly invite researchers, students, and professionals to join us in Ishigaki for this unique opportunity to discuss the latest advances in Plasma Agriculture, exchange ideas with leading experts, and build new international collaborations. We look forward to welcoming you to an exciting and productive meeting in Okinawa.
